Families of 11 former CNRP members demand release of relatives

This afternoon on 10th January 2024, eleven family members of imprisoned CNRP members peacefully gathered in front of the French Embassy to demand the release of their relatives, who were detained on charges of plotting and incitement and called for a stop to judicial harassment against social and political activists. Near the protest, approximately fourteen authorities and police officers observed and took photos of the protestors. Three representatives of the Friday Women were allowed to enter the Embassy to meet with its officials.
