This workshop was participated by 60 land victims, by local authority such as village chie, commune council, district governor, provincial authority, relevant department officers and national, international organization&#8217;s representatives. The workshop was under presidency of Mr. Thun Saray, ADHOC&#8217;s president and H.E Sieng Suthorng, deputy provincial governor in charge of land dispute resolution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">The key speakers on the flore there were:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">1-H.E sieng Suthorng, Battambang deputy provincial governor<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">2-Mr. Thun Saray, ADHOC&#8217;s president<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">3-Mr. Uy Samphea, deputy Battambang court prosecutor,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">4-Mr. Sras Sarom, provincial land department officer and<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">5-Mr. Ho Chheng On, lawyer from LAC<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">The victims of land community come from: La Vear, Borvel district have dispute with Oknha Sang Thorn that until no<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">w it is still in raw each other, community from O Jamlorng Romaing Leu, in Osam Rel commune, Samlot district have land dispute with military and private company from Austratlia, community from Prey Thom, Kampong Lapov commune, Sam Lot district, have land dispute with soldier named Nov Phean, community form Andog Kantuot, Daunba commune, Koiskralor district have dispute with ABC beer company\u2019s boss and community from Chhork Roka, Daunba commune, Kois Kralor district have dispute with Toit Thoeurn, military commander from Region 5. Mr. Thun Saray welcomed and told essence of land rights to participants, land is important for people living in rural area as it is a revenue source for living condition, if no land people lost also other key rights such as rights to education, rights to health, rights to enough food, rights to proper work. A long with this, he also focused on the purpose of the workshop in order to give opportunity for people who have land conflict to raise their concern to competent authority and help to share some comment and improve knowledge on other rules relative to land because the speakers were skillful and in charge of land resolution. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">H.E Sieng Suthorng impressed that in the field of land, government also concerning and pay deep attention in compilation of laws, sub decree, and other rules relating to land in specific land reform policy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">Prosecutor also advised people not to use violence in land conflict. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: medium\">As a strategy in resolution of above cases, provincial authority decided to remove land for state land after then social land concession will be granted to landless people, and Economic Land Concession will be granted to company in next step.
