After receiving information of the trafficking through the victim\u2019s family, ADHOC intervened with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. After cooperation between the Cambodian consulate in Shanghai, China, and ADHOC, the victim named V.N. was able to return safely to Cambodia and return home to her native Odder Meanchay. Funds for her flight were provided to ADHOC though a generous gift of an individual who requested to remain anonymous.<\/p>\n<p>It turned out that one of the arrested brokers and the victim had known each other for some time prior to the trafficking.
